The name says it all. We are an incorporated Rainbow Bay based board riders club, Established in 2007 , the club came from the minds of self described "crusty old surfers" who had an idea to help kids suffering from cancer. With membership of around 100, we are mainly long boarders though we also have short boarders, wave ski riders and SUPs. We don't discriminate on type of surf craft.
A non competitive club, we hold social events, a fun surf comp and fundraisers to support local charities that support local children in need. We hope that our monetary support can help put a smile on a few kids faces.
Join up as a member or sponsor . Non surfers are welcome!
The average age of the club is 60 plus, but there are some younger members and ladies too. We enjoy the mateship, having a surf together and supporting local kids charities. The club committee and members are all volunteers and in the spirit of keeping costs to a minimum our only overhead is the shade cloth at the picnic table ( and the council pays for that)
